I leaned on my motorbike, laughing and chattering with my friends.

We were in the parking lot, just hanging out after school.

It was going to be an all-nighter, and I couldn't imagine leaving Ronnie all by herself at home.

Besides, I still had plans on taking Ronnie out for the movies.
