Let's Go Have Some Fun!

🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Logan

I stood there with my blood boiling as this guy who I had no damn idea who he was, stared back at me with a stupid smile on his face. He extended an arm out to me, making my jaw clench, but my son was here. I wasn't going to make a scene in front of him. "So, you're the infamous Logan? Nice to meet you, man." He says smiling.

I swallowed my pride for now and shook his hand. "That's me. And you are?" I asked, furrowing my eyebrows, tightening my grip on his hand. He winced slightly, making me smile.

"Like my boy Xander said... My name is Ethan. I'm a friend of the family."

"Doubt it, man. I don't know who you are bud. And I'm a big part of this family." I responded cockily. Yes, I know I'm being an asshole, but I don't give a shit. This guy was not about to come into my life and steal what's mine. Hell. fucking. no. I will not allow it.

He clenched his jaw, eyeing me with a stupid sarcastic grin. 'Dito man, I don't like you either, buddy,' I thought to myself.

I just met this dude, and I already hate him. "Anyway, what can we do for you?" He asked. "You? Nothing. I'm here to see my son and my future wife." I replied with a bright grin. Nathan giggled, biting his bottom lip, showing those pearly whites. "Is that so?" he asked, furrowing his eyebrows. "Most certainly," I replied, grabbing my son and hoisting him in my arms. Nathan wrapped his arms around my neck, kissing my cheek, it brought a huge smile to get love from my little one. He took a step back and to a side when we both heard Sophie's voice.

"Logan. What are you doing here?" She asked stepping in front of Kevin.... or Easten, whatever his name is.

"Soph, can we talk, please?" I pleaded, grabbing her arm slightly, pulling her against me, and trailing my hand around her waist. Nathan blushed, chuckling as he sees me hugging her, unlike Taylor, who looked bothered by it. She's mine bud, can't have her, no way in hell I'll let you take my girl.

"Logan, I don't think this is a good time. We were just about to have lunch." She says, pressing her arms over my chest, looking back towards the guy, and then smiling at my son, Nathan.

"Well, maybe I can stay and join you. Then, we can talk after." I suggested making her roll her eyes.

"Oh, yay. Mom, can dad eat lunch with us, too? Please?" I smiled at his enthusiasm. "Please?" I asked, smiling and winking at Nathan. Boy, do I love my kid already. She sighs and pushes me away. "Fine. But!" She says turning back and pointing towards us both with a serious expression.

"No drama, and no arguing. " She warns, pointing towards Kevin and me. I lifted my free hand in agreement and suggested she entered first.

"Ladies first," Kyle says, smirking at her. He then looks at me and clears his throat, smiling at Nathan. "You wanna keep playing after lunch with me kiddo?" he asks, scruffing my son's hair. "Dad, Ethan and me were playing a video game. Do you want to play with us after we finish eating?" Nathan turns, placing his hands around my neck. I give him the biggest smile and nod. "Id love to, buddy. But after I talk to mom, ok?" I reply making his smile bigger. "Ok," he replies.

We make our way inside and see Sophie adding plates to the table. Her house is beautiful. Everything is here, the decorations, the colors, it all speaks her. "Sit next to me dad," he says running to the table after I put him down and points to the seat next to him. Kevin pulls the seat on the other side of Nathan and my little man stops him. "Wait, Ethan, this is mom's seat." I smile inwardly, and sit next to my son, Sophie sets the salad bowl in the middle and sits next to him, looking at me with a serious face.

Sophie

I have no idea what Logan is up to, but I do know he has something up his sleeve. I take a seat next to Nathan, clearing my throat as I feel the tension building in the air. Ethan is such a good friend to me, but he can be a bit overbearing and overprotective at times. He has been this way since the night when the guy I was dating a few years back, Andrew Watson, tried to act like an ass in front of him. In other words, he was a narcissistic asshole.

The tension in the air was strong. I was unsure what went through Logan's mind, or why he was here. Surely, he wanted to throw thousands of questions about Nathan. It had only been an hour or so since he found he was his son. But the vivid picture of Roxie kissing him was still a painful new wound in my heart. I had to face the new reality, no matter how painful it may be.

Do I still love him? I'm finding that being back home, I've been finding it difficult to not think of him. Many times I walk, reminiscing about the things we would do together as I go through these old streets. Our first kiss up in his room, when we were stuck working on a project together. The stunt he pulled once, dedicating a football game to me in front of the entire class, where we had bet for a date. I pleaded to God he lost so I didn't have to go to that date, but he won victoriously, thus, I ended going on our first date. And, oh boy, was it an amazing date.

That was when everything changed for us. The beginning of what I thought, was the most beautiful relationship of my life.

We ended lunch with small talk, and much tension, but I was glad no rude comments or misinterpretation was made. "So, hey, Sophie, we were thinking," Johnny finally spoke, breaking the silence. We all looked up, giving our attention to Johnny. He smiled and winked at Lexie, making her smile back. "When was the last time you got to go out and enjoy yourself?" I tilted my head pensively, I was unsure what he meant by this. True, as a single mom, I don't get to go out much, especially since I don't have many friends in California, and all my friends are here in town, but are beginning to settle down as well, or are starting their careers.

"Umm, what do you mean?" I asked, narrowing my eyebrows. He chuckles, making Logan clench his jaw. If there's one thing about Logan, he was always a bit uncomfortable with other men talking to me. But, he had no right to get jealous of me anymore. He had Roxie to deal with. "Well, Ethan and I wanted to check out this 80's club we saw on our way out here. How about you and Lexie join us for a night of dancing?" he says full of enthusiasm. "Like hell," Logan added under his breath making everyone turn. "Umm," I glanced at Nathan who was looking at me and Logan with his beautiful big green eyes. "She is not going anywhere with some guy I don't even know, that's for sure," he added making me a bit upset.

"Excuse me? I'm not just any guy, I'm a friend of hers. We've been friends since the day she came to California. I'm the one who's been there for him when you should have been the one there for her and your son." Ethan spat, making Logan angry.

"Well isn't that fucking convenient for you? But it's not like I had a choice, did I? I just found out about my son today, but believe me, buddy, if I'd known, she sure as hell wouldn't have gone through it alone. Nor would I've let her leave if I had the choice."

"What did you expect? For her to tell you she was knocked up when you had someone else pregnant too?"

The argument escalated quickly, making me angry. I know Ethan meant well, but he only knew as much as I did just a few minutes ago. He didn't know it was all a big lie from Amber. I needed to get Logan away and get things under control before it got physical.

"Enough." I stood, glancing at Nathan and kissing his forehead. He wasn't used to seeing people argue in front of him, other than random people in the streets back home. "Lexie, can you please look after Nate for a bit, please?" I asked calmly. She nodded apologetically and Nate quickly got up and went around to hug her and sat on her lap. I glanced at Logan and Ethan who were still staring at each other with anger.

"Ethan, I know you mean well. Thank you for that, I know I can count on you for support was a friend, but Logan is right, he didn't know about Nathan and I just found out the truth a while ago."

He looks at Logan but continued to have a staredown with him. "That doesn't mean he suddenly has a welcome mat at your door. He can't tell you who you can go out with, or where you can go,"

"I can, and I will because she's mine. Got it? I'll be damn if I let her go anywhere with you asshole," Logan nears his face, just inches away making my blood boil. It was like seeing his jealousy streak all over again. Just like in high school, when he was jealous of my best friend Troy, thinking Troy wanted to date me. "Who you calling asshole?"

"Enough!" I said, grabbing Logan's arm and pulling him. "Both of you are acting like stupid teenagers in a fit of rage. Ethan, I'll talk to you later. Logan, follow me" I said, pulling his arm and walking towards my room.

Logan followed, closing the door right behind himself. He ran his hands through his hair, clenching his jaw. "What is the matter with you? Why are you acting like this in front of my friends?" I asked, getting cut off by him. He cupped my face, kissing me vigorously. He took me by surprise, making me gasp. I pulled away before I regret what I was doing and looked at him angrily. "Stop, Logan. Don't do that." I spat out making his jaw clench.

"Why? Is it because of that Kevin guy?" I rolled my eyes and nodded.

"His name is Ethan. And no, it's because of your girlfriend, or did you forget you have one?"

"She's not my girlfriend Sophie. That's why I ran over here, to talk to you, and tell you the truth." he says, pulling me against him by my waist.

"Oh, really? So she's just a random girl who knows you, sleeps with you, and decided to call herself your girlfriend? Is that it?" I was beginning to get angry by his declarations. "No, I mean,,ugg. Will you just listen to me? She's a friend Sophie. Troy and she thought it would be a good idea to have her pretend to be my girl to make you jealous. But this was all before I knew about Nathan. Before you came into the diner and kissed me. Please, baby, you gotta believe me. I would never do anything to hurt you, you know that." he says placing his head on the crook of my neck holding me tight.

"Troy? Are you kidding me, Logan? You expect me to believe all this crap?" I asked annoyed, pushing off slightly on his chest. He felt so hard, and chiseled, I could tell Football had done him gloriously, and by the looks of it, he was still working out. Damn it- focus Sophie!

"Baby, I'm telling you the truth, please? I wouldn't have come all the way here just to lie to you. You mean so much to me, Soph. I want to be with you, to be in Nathan's life. I want us to be together." he says, pulling me back again, trailing a hand to the back of my neck. "Why should I believe you? Those kisses she gave you did not look fake, and she sure as hell didn't look like she was faking the way she looked at you so lovingly." I whispered, pursing my eyebrows. That kiss did emotional damage to me, and I knew it.

"She doesn't mean anything Soph. It's you I want," he whispered, kissing me. Our tongues danced in sync, heating up quickly. His hands tipping my waist, and slowly pulling me flush against him. I involuntarily moaned, making him grunt. I could feel a smile on his lips, making my heart feel so confused. I wanted him, I wanted us to be ok, but the events of tonight have surely clouded m thoughts.

"I missed you, baby, I missed you so much," he whispers, gripping my butt and lifting me. He had me pinned against the door frame, my legs wrapped around his waist as we were making out. God, I missed his passionate kisses. He was the best kisser in the world as far as I knew. He slowly pressed against me, making me feel his bulge. He was becoming aroused quickly. But this is no time for us to become intimate. Especially when our son was just in the other from, and my friends were in the living room. We parted gasping for air, I tilted my head back against the door, making a huge mistake.

Logan knew my body far too well and knew that kissing my neck would excite me. He attacked my neck, leaving hot wet kisses on my neck and pressing himself harder against me. I was indeed becoming aroused, something I could not have right now. "Mommy? Logan? Can we go to the park?" I jolted, and we both froze as the sound of our little one startled us.

He grunted, clearing his throat and chuckling. Our lips were swollen, and my hair, along with his, was now an unruly mess. "You got it, buddy. We'll go for a walk together in a bit, ok?" Logan answered making him giggle. I could hear his little footsteps, as he ran back to his room. "Logan we, umm." I was out of words. Too much has happened in just a few hours.

"You want to go to that club, it's fine. I didn't mean to overreact," he answered, making a smile. "But," he added, pointing his index forward. "Well make it a group outing. I'll get Troy and Dylan to come along and a few friends. Maybe we can ask grandma to look after Nathan for the night?"

"I don't think that's a good idea. I haven't been anywhere without Nathan in so long. I don't know if he will be ok, or what if he misses me, or?" he smiles, kissing my lips and pressing his forehead against me. "You also need to unwind and get a breather from time to time. Besides, you know my mom, she'll be good to him. And...I will be there right next to you in case anything goes wrong, or you want to leave." His husky voice filling me with a sense of comfort. I sighed, trailing my hands around his waist and pressing my head against his chest.

"Fine, but you have to promise me one thing," I looked up at him, admiring the glistening of his bright green eyes. "Anything," he replies, smiling.

"You have to get along with Ethan. He's a good friend, he means well. And he loves Nathan so much, he's just trying to look out for us." he grunts, throwing his head back.

"Fibe, I'll behave...as long as he behaves too," he replies making me chuckle. "You're still an ass, you know that?" I say making him chuckle. He kisses me softly, making me sigh. I comb my hair, fixing his hair with my fingers, and make our way back to the living room.

"So, the 80's club. I'll see you guys there, I guess," he says, with a smile looking between them. Ethan and John look at each other extensively, though Alexis smiles and jumps excitedly.

"Oh, yay. We'd love to have you with us, Logan. I'm glad you and Sophie are working together to better your relationship I'm so happy for you guys." she adds, winking at me. "So, you're.....going with us?" Johnny asks. "Is that a problem?" Logan asks making John a bit uncomfortable. "Nope, not at all man. We'll be happy to have you there."

"Good. I'll pick you up later so we can take Nathan to my mom's house, babe," he says turning to me and cupping my face, planting a kiss on my lips.

"Ok, see you in a few hours," I reply, returning the kiss. He smiles and kisses me one last time before going to Nathan's room to say bye to him, but, Nathan refuses to say bye, clinging onto his neck and telling him to stay. So before we know it, Logan and I are now on our way to his house to pick up Charlie, and to the park for a walk. He parks the car, and we all get out. Logan holding my hand and holding Nathan in his arm. I grab the leash and smile as Charlie licks my hand while I try and tie his leash around his collar.

"Ready?" Logan asks making Nathan smile. "Ready!" Nathan replies smiling. "Let's go have some fun," he adds as he smiles, nudging his nose against Nathans's nose.
