"Edith, everything will get better."

Meredith nodded. She believed that everything would get better. She could only believe it!

After resuscitating, Nia's condition was considered stable. Looking at Nia lying sickly on the bed, Meredith's tears, which she had tried hard to stop a moment ago, fell again.

She held onto Nia's hand tightly, afraid to lose her once again. She sniffled and asked the attending doctor, "Doctor, didn't you say that Nia could head home to recuperate? Why did she pass out because she missed an injection?"

The doctor looked at Nia and said, "Perhaps, because she suddenly stopped her treatment, she could not adjust to it. We need to do it gradually, to lessen the dosage each time, so that she can slowly adapt to it. No matter what, be more careful in the future, don't let her run out of the hospital next time."

Meredith nodded. "Okay, I got it."
