I was finally able to rein in Zilver but he kept woundedly howling in my head. This was affecting him more than I had imagined. He wanted her, not only Laila but her too and her stinging words had pushed him over the edge.

Differences aside, I couldn't even dream of killing my mate. Her thought process baffled me, what kind of monster she thought I was?

My bitterness was coursing through my veins like a river of pain and suffering. Especially when an hour ago Kamryn had seen the video Adiyan had posted on social media and made it public. He had been keeping an eye on the media for any such incidents and what we feared came true.

And I dreaded leaving him alive for once. He was going to be a problem, I never knew he would have a spine after what I did to him but it seemed like we underestimated him.

If the problem of infertility hadn't been rearing its ugly head in the supernatural world and fertile females weren't so scarce I would have rejected her and taken on Seli
