Xynathius's POV

Karcia returned after 2 hours and we finally left the fashion boutique to make our way back to the pack.

"What colour did you choose?" I couldn't help myself and asked. I desperately wished to see her in purple. I knew she would seem nothing less than a goddess in that colour but I didn't want to force it on her.

"It's a surprise, you will see it on the day of the ball," she slyly answered and I was left wondering but I didn't push her any further.

"Whatever Gwardia has revealed regarding you will remain between us. Until you get the hang of your powers, I don't want you to be exposed," I carefully instructed as we neared the pack house.

"Alright, because I am still confused about it but I want to find out what I truly am," she answered in all seriousness and I nodded in approval.

We reached back and almost evening had fallen. The air was turning crisp by the second so we hurried inside. Kamryn and Aegir were waiting for me, while Karica went off to her room.
