Their New Home

Xynathius’s POV

Kamryn and Mom Nashia had been compelling me to build my own home for a while now. With Karica getting pregnant, that became a necessity. Our family was only going to grow and we wouldn't be able to keep living in the pack house. They understood we needed the privacy of our own home.

So I chose a spot where direct sunlight would hit and we could have a small garden of our own. I started building my home. Kamryn helped me design it. I didn't want anything fancy, but instead something comfortable and cosy.

I only hoped that Karica would like my choice. She had loved Thadieus and Shaline’s palace and I wondered if she would want something similar. But all I wanted was a small cottage-type home with privacy.

That's what I tried to create and now it was time to learn if she would approve of my choice. I let her down and straightened her up so she could have a glance at our new house.
