Chapter 87 - Bonding

Sensing that Tim was uncomfortable with his touch, Tyler retracted his hand and thrust his hand on his pocket.

He couldn't blame his son for being aloof.

"Go to daddy," Jade said, she can't just do nothing to ease tension.

She just wanted her son to know and feel how it is to be with his father.

Even if everything turned sour for her and Tyler, Jade didn't want Tim to hate his father.

Tyler pulled his hand from his pocket and picked Tim, carrying him in his arms. Tim reflexively grabbed Tyler's neck.

Joy saturated Tyler's heart when Tim didn't refuse being held by him.

Temporarily forgetting that Jade repulsed his touch, Tyler bent over to kiss Jade on her cheek.

Surprisingly, Jade didn't repulse his kiss.

"Kiss your mom before we leave," Tyler said, still bent over so Tim could give Jade a peck on her cheek.

Later, after Cecilia and Jared left, Jade dozed off after thinking so much.
