"Greetings Milady, you are certainly blooming these days," I hear the priest from beside me say. I told the others that I am going to the temple and that I did want to pray.

May and the others appeared to encourage me to pray, but that was all there was to it. I'm in this temple right now, prepared to pray, or was it that I was already doing so? I chuckle inside because I will never pray in a location where there is covert greed and malice.

I follow the priest with my eyes narrowed, but I silently smirk because I was looking for the people who had raised suspicion in my mind—like the maiden statue with the hole in it—because it doesn't seem right at all.
