My Epsilon hauled me to the side of the street before I could be run over—by my own Goddess-damned car—after I was f*ckng hit with it.

I could feel the shards of glass embedded in my skin—peppering my back, my neck, skull, and face. Some bone I didn't know the name of was broken in my arm. The puncture wound in the bubble between my vertebrae made by that bitch Gemma Brooks stabbing me with that damn knife—where the f*ck did she even get it?! Damn Raisa. She had me fooled.

Goddess be damned if I don't rip their pretty throats out.

I shoved the fur brains away and got to my feet. "Get the f*ck off, you idiots!"

I stumbled like I was drunk. I made use of it by snatching one of the Epsilon's throats. He choked but knew better than to fight back.

"Find them," I spat, blood and spit spattering his face. "I don't care if you have to crawl to do it."
