They not only had their first run in their wolf forms but also had the opportunity to fight for our kingdom. Over the past ten years, we have been able to upgrade our entire kingdom and bring us into the twenty-first century where technology is concerned. We even had vampires working in the human world now, but when it came to protecting our kingdom, not a lot had changed. We still had to hide it from the general human population. People never ever accepted what they didn’t understand and to make sure we protected our survival, we kept the laws pretty strict.

No wolf or vampire was ever allowed to tell a human what they really were. There was only one exception and that was if a human was a wolf’s mate.
