Conrad stood at the door with a frown. “Is something bothering you? You didn’t respond after I knocked on the door so many times.”

“Oh?” Fia was feeling a bit agitated. “Who let you in?”

“Mrs. Taylor asked me to come down and have breakfast.”

“I see,” Fia said with a numb expression.

Conrad walked into her bedroom. “Is something really bothering you?”

Fia said nothing as she looked at his amber eyes.

“Mrs. Taylor told me you encountered the tomboy again yesterday and she said something strange?” Conrad asked.

“She isn’t exactly strange,” Fia didn’t want to give Quincey a verdict so soon.

She then took out the package that Lucifer gave her. “This is the cure for the chaser.”

Conrad excitedly took a step in front. “Use it!”

“I want to use it after Tiger uses it to find a cure.”

“If we use this for research, then you won’t have enough to cure yourself anymore.”

“There will be once Tiger manages to figure out the formula!” Fia said firmly. “I believe in him.”
