Anderson turned to look at Felix, the old man with a sneer. He had remained silent the entire time without intervening. That meant if the Sett fellow had attacked earlier, he probably would have sat there silently without doing anything to stop him.

“Please calm down. You have to understand, there were so many of us who were brought here on the guise of help. So many who of us who became friends, but are now gone. Sent away never to return, or turned against each other and killed each other. Now, you have become the latest victim. Memory loss. You have to know; you were only gone one day and returned the way you are now.” Felix spoke with a heavy accent. His speech was slow and steady, as if he was struggling to bring out the words.

The old man Felix that had remained silent spoke so much. Anderson could see the tiredness in his eyes. He could tell how much the weird situation had affected him. It was unfortunate Anderson did not know how they ‘ticked
