Chapter 47

The blue angel orphanage was somewhat of a big orphanage. It was the culmination of the work of a few philanthropists and was the only one in the whole city to not be affiliated to any catholic belief. Some said it was more of a smack in the face, a goad to the Catholics, especially for building it right in the middle of the city surrounded by other catholic orphanages and churches.

As much as the rumors spoke, both parties knew it was more of a friendly competition among themselves. Something more of a who can help more orphans, type of competition. There was and there had never been a single bit of hatred among them. What they enjoyed was truly helping those in need.
