Chapter sixteen

Zoe's point of view 

Later that evening I'm getting ready for dinner I chose a long summery dress that sits just off my shoulder, I smile, Aiden has a good fashion sense, I love the clothes he bought for me although I have to laugh as I only have the pumps to go with it.

Aidan smiles as he looks at my feet.

"You look, beautiful Baby."

I laugh as I look down at my shoes. I have no makeup, and my hair hangs around my shoulders in natural curls.

He takes my arm as he asks

"Are you ready?" 

I reply,

"yeah let's do this."

However, I don't feel anywhere near as confident as I sound. Tonight I get to meet Aiden's fathers business partners and find out if they're willing to help me out, I can't keep the sickly feeling that sits i
