Chapter 54 guilt

When I walked back upstairs no one looked at me. My dad and brother did all the cleaning up but didn’t talk to me or look my way when they came back upstairs either. Erik looked my way a couple times as we all sat at the kitchen table. I still haven’t washed my hands and the blood has dried and looking at them just makes me feel guilty. I just ripped my best friend's throat out… my best friend. She watched me grow up, we watched each other grow up because our parents got along and decided to let us all go to the same school.
