Chapter 25

SEBASTIAN'S POV.

I stared at the rogue, watching his beaten and broken body heave with ragged breaths. His eyes were swollen and bloodshot, and his skin was a mess of wounds and burns. I had tortured him for hours, and yet, he still refused to tell me what I wanted to know. I was on the verge of killing him when he finally spoke.

"Your father killed Hailee's father," he gasped out, the words barely audible.

My heart stopped. I couldn't believe what I was hearing. My father, the one person I had always looked up to, had killed someone. And not just anyone, but the father of the woman I loved. I felt a surge of anger and betrayal, and I knew that nothing would ever be the same again.

"What are you talking about?" I demanded, grabbing him by the collar of his shirt. "Tell me everything."

"He killed him and took the crown," the rogue rasped out. "Hailee's the rightful Alpha, and she's coming for you. She wants what's hers."
