I slowly opened my eyes, feeling a throbbing pain in my head. As my vision cleared, I realized that I was lying in a large, comfortable bed in a room that was unfamiliar to me. I sat up slowly, wincing at the soreness in my body, and looked around. The room was spacious and elegantly furnished, with a large window that allowed sunlight to filter in.

I tried to remember what had happened to me, but my mind was hazy. The last thing I could recall was Clara dragging me out of the pack house and beating me mercilessly. I gasped as the memory flooded back to me, and I gingerly touched my face, expecting to feel bruises and cuts. But to my surprise, my skin was completely healed, as if nothing had happened.

Confused and disoriented, I looked around the room again, wondering where I was and how I had gotten here. Then, I heard a faint knock on the door, and a familiar voice called out to me. "Hailee, are you awake?" It was Sebastian.
