Chapter fourteen

DOLPH'S POV.

When I was done mourning how much I kissed Hailee, I left my room and followed the scent that I had caught earlier because I was very disturbed by it. The thought of being given away or followed gave me the creeps and not knowing I was being followed the whole while even made it why I should tackle the situation immediately.

As I walked through the halls of my packhouse, I was filled with a sense of urgency. Something was amiss, and I couldn't shake the feeling that I was being followed.

I continued to follow the scent, twisting and turning through the packhouse until I found myself at a dead end. But I refused to give up. I was an excellent tracker, and I knew there had to be a way out.

I searched for clues, and after a few moments, I found a hidden door that led to the pack boundary. I stepped outside and surveyed my surroundings. The pack boundary was vast and deserted, and there was no one in sight.

But then, I caught a glimpse of movement out of the corner of my eye
