DARLENE

Italy was an experience.

Something I would have loved to relive.

Honestly, I counted it as my honeymoon, and nothing felt more saddening to have it end.

Our side of the Mckenzie mansion feels weird without Alexander. He had only been gone for a day and I was already missing him. It made me realize how dependent I had gotten on him, and how I was now used to his company. We've never stayed away from each other for more than a day since we got married and now, he was gone for a day and he wasn't going to be back till in three days.

I could go downstairs to chat with Mrs Stephanie Mckenzie but I didn't want to risk that, I didn't want to risk running into Frederick because I knew he was also around. Since what happened the other day, I've been trying to steer clear of him, I've been trying to avoid him.

I could handle my feelings for him, I could control them and keep them at bay and hide it away from everyone because I loved my husband and I wasn't supposed to develop feelings f
