RECONCILIATION AND REPETITION

“I’ll be right back, Angelina. I’m happy to see you’re okay,” Simon said, his eyes still fixated on the woman he was staring at outside the window. He turned quickly and rushed out of the room.

Angelina just stared at him in surprise, without responding.

Simon walked slowly towards the receptionist counter, Diana hadn’t seen him. He wondered what she was doing in the hospital, was she sick or hurt?

“Hey, Diana,” Simon called, tapping her lightly on her shoulders. He couldn’t get off the concerned look from his face.

Diana shrugged, she knew who it was, and she couldn’t help but wonder what he was also doing in the hospital. She still needed time off men, she hadn’t forgiven herself for getting angry at innocent Simon.

“What are you doing here, Simon?” She asked, without turning over to look at him, the receptionist was focused on the computer in front of her.

“I could ask you the same thing,” Simon replied, walking over to the counter, so he could see her face.

“I had a migraine
