27~Hannah

I woke up with a bunch of soft kisses plastering my whole face. My eyes snapped open in an instant and met the scary blue ones that belonged to none other than Zach.

"It's way too early for you to be trying to get on my nerves." I groggily said and repositioned myself to continue sleeping.

"It's past nine already." He said.

I opened one eye. There was no way Zach could be home at such a time on a weekday so I hummed and continued my sleep.

"Hannah wake up." He poked my sides.

"Go away!" I moaned in protest.

"Wake up, it's our anniversary."

Our what?? The last word echoed in my ears a number of times for a few seconds. I sat up abruptly.

"How do you remember our wedding anniversary and I don't? I asked him with a wide eyed stare.

"Pregnancy brain?" He said amusedly.

I hummed in concession. "I suppose you're right."

But the question heavy on my mind was how and why he even remembered our anniversary. He was all frowny this time a year before.

"Happy anniversary." He cut into my thought
