Chapter Seventeen

IVY'S POV.

It was a hectic day for me in the office since it was monday.I was moody,I didn't talk to anyone,I just focused on my work.the work I did for free.this is how my life has turned out.

The only source of happiness in my life now was when I remember that I didn't have to worry about my dad's expenses anymore.he was doing great and I was happy about it.

But deep down in my heart,I wanted to make money,rent an apartment and bring my dad to stay with me but I couldn't do that anymore.my hands were tied.

My only hope of being free now was my boss changing his mind and terminate the contract but that is almost impossible because he is the most coldest and heartless man I have ever met but there is nothing impossible with prayer.I hope the holy spirit touches his heart one day.that is the only way,I would keep on praying for him.maybe he would change one day.

After the day's work,I went home.i didn't even have time or the appetite to eat today except for the coffee I drank.
