"I'm not following," I said as I shook my head.

"Girl, do you remember the document you signed on your birthday?" She asked.

Right. I did sign a document that evening.

"Yes," I said and she nodded.

"And you know how I helped your mom because she was drunk?" Mia asked. I did ask her to take care of my mom.

"Oh my god you got her to sign the documents and transferred ownership to her!" I whispered.
