I pulled my eyes open when I heard voices. When I woke up, I saw Charles and Chloe yelling at each other while walking up the stairs. They were fighting, and it seemed like I was the topic of discussion, so I shut my eyes and waited for them to be out of sight.

Chloe was crossed that I was here, and I don't blame her one bit. I was a terrible person, but I wasn't just trying to sneak myself back into Charles' life. This was a coincidence, and he was the only one who could save my life.
