He just called me beautiful. What? Daniel called me beautiful? And I was still here, between his legs, eating bacon?
He handed the plate of bacon to me. I got up from the floor and went to sit at the nearest sofa, gently eating the delicious bacon again. My heartbeat returned to normal as I got a bit distant from him again. Why did I feel like that around him? I was pregnant, and still married, how could I let him make me feel like that?
"So, how did your first night here go?" He asked, and I was glad he talked because I didn't want to eat in awkward silence.
"It was different." I replied, chewing on the bacon in my mouth. It tasted really good.
"Different-good or different-bad?" He asked, raising an eyebrow.
"Definitely the good one. It was peaceful. Very peaceful, but I felt a little lonely when I woke up." I told him.

My cheeks turned pink and I felt the heat spread around my face. Adam called me beautiful. After we paid for the phone and got of the mall, it immediately occurred to me that I hadn't gotten any groceries, and other stuff I'd need in the house. I told Daniel this as we got into the car but he told me not to worry, that he knew a better place for us to shop for groceries and stuff. We drove off the mall with me staring down at my new phone."What are you staring at it for? Turn it on!" Daniel urged and I placed my thumb on the side button, pressing and holding it in for a few seconds. The screen came on immediately."It's on." I announced to Daniel, and he gave me a thumbs up in reply. I started at the expensive piece of shit in my hand. It wasn't literally shit, I mean I liked it and all but I found it a little too pricey. All that money just do I could make calls and receive texts?The home screen popped up and it was a picture of a fish. I was so changing that later. I have to set the thing up first.

I turned to look at Daniel in utter surprise. He chuckled as the car slowed to a halt. "Hey, what the…!" Daniel shouted as we both bent forward by the impulse of the car. I immediately slammed my feet on the brakes again, bringing the car to an abrupt stop right in the middle of the road."Uh…I think I'll better take the wheel." Daniel slowly said and opened the door, he got greeted with hundreds of loud honks as I quickly opened the door to walk out but quickly closed it again because of the oncoming vehicle. When it passed, I reopened the door and hopped out, quickly walking to the other side of the car as Daniel hopped into the drivers seat. I entered the passengers seat and closed the door as Daniel pressed his feet on the accelerator, making the car move forward with a nice, slow speed."Uhm, unless I want to die, remind me never to let you drive again." Daniel joked but I didn't laugh."Deal." I said. This was all a bad idea in the first place even. Well, at least I got one good lesson

"Hold on, let me get this," Daniel said, holding up one finger as I nodded to him. He brought his phone out of his shirt pocket and I moved towards the kitchen cabinet. I retrieved some frying pans and finally settled on a medium sized one to use to fry eggs. I was suddenly in the mood for Daniel's bacon and eggs and I wanted him to teach me how he made such a delicious delicacy."Good afternoon to you too, Ashley." I heard him say behind me. It was that Ashley girl again. Ugh, she had really perfect timing."Why are you asking that?" Daniel asked, walking slowly, to and fro the kitchen. I brought out some eggs from the bags Daniel had helped me carry inside and started to crack them."I know I've never had a problem with you asking where I am but...I don't know, I'm quite busy now, can we talk later?"
