Third person POV

From that day on, Sally did nothing but meet with people from different clans, trying to renew their alliance. Out of all the 7 clans that came today, one clan was rejected by Sally from continuing the alliance that Sally's grandfather and the former leader once built.

To put it simply, the young leader is an asshole and too shady for Sally.

As noon approached, Ryan became restless and even more wary. Turning to Kingsley and Simon, Sally looked at them quizzically.

“He's just upset because there's so much manly smell on you.”

As if Kingsley had revealed his deepest secret, Ryan glared at him. Sally giggled at the sight before reaching out and lacing their fingers together, which worked as Ryan immediately calmed down.

Sally wasn't the only one stressed all week, although she was mainly focused on her responsibilities as the granddaughter of the former leader, who was trying to fill the void left by the old man. She left behind her other most important responsibility -
