Chapter Fourteen

"I don't know what to do, Father", Gabriella complains to her father from where she sat in his office. "Alicia was so hostile towards me, it was like she finally had proven that I'm not an efficient leader"

"How dare her do that to her future Alpha? She should be punished", Richard growls.

"Punishing her will only reduce her respect for me even more"

"So are you expecting me to keep calm and watch my daughter be disrespected?", he fires back.

"Father..."

"I get that it's kind of weird for a grown woman like you to be having mate issues but still, she has no right to judge you"

"Well, Alicia is kind of perfect. She has a loving mate, a beautiful daughter and a family that is supportive of her job as a soldier of this pack", Gabriella mutters and Richard frowns.

"Don't give me that crap, Gabriella, you know you have me. And Varus too"

"I wasn't being jealous, don't worry about that. I was just trying to say that with how perfect she is, it's not so out of place for her to judge
