As Karen was in the car, enjoying her ride home, her mind went back to the entire incident that took place some days ago in the office, and why she felt threatened, which warranted Denzel to relocate her from her present place of living.

***FLASHBACK***

Karen did not see her boss for about a couple of months even though they worked in the same office. He had been out of town a few times but when he did reappear at the office and on the occasions that she saw him, he seemed distracted and barely said little to her. She wondered if she had done something wrong, or worse, if he was already tired of her. She had tried to muster up courage to meet him at his office to ask why he never bothered to see her and to perhaps inquire if their contract was still binding but fear and anxiety would always get the better part of her.
