Chapter 38 - Knowing The Truth

Christmas day had come, after dismissing her class, Moriah didn't miss a second and went out of the campus and hailed a cab.

"I'm already here. Where are you? " She looked around as she talked to Cindy on the phone.

Since they have known each other they go out during the holidays and have some fun. One of their favourite things to do is ice skating. Today, they agreed to go ice skating.

"Sorry, I'm not feeling well. Can we go skating tomorrow or the next day? " Cindy said.

"Okay, I'll be there in 30 minutes. Do you have a cold or fever, I'll buy some medications for you," Moriah walked fast towards the exit.

"No, I need you to just come back. I missed you already," Cindy said.

"Alright, I have to hang up now," she hailed a cab and entered the cab immediately.

She told the address to the cab driver in Mandarin as she wanted to practice her Mandarin. The cab driver was surprised to hear a foreigner like her, who spoke fluently in Mandarin.

20 minutes later the taxi stopped at her ap
