Awkward Dinner

The four people at the dining table were now enjoying their dinner without a word.  And that manages to make things really, really awkward at the moment.

Jazlyn just enjoyed her meal without a word.  Meanwhile, Ace, who had previously chatted with his parents, suddenly turned silent.

"Isn't the atmosphere getting really weird now?" asked Roseane who had broken the silence now.

"By the way, I didn't expect that we went to the same department and college Jazlyn. Ace told me about your college and your major and I was really surprised to know that we are the same alma mater," said Roseane happily now.

Jazlyn was now giving Ace a sharp look. For some reason the man seemed to really like to divulge everything about Jazlyn to his parents.

"You said you only told me about my eye color. How did your mother know my college and major?" Jazlyn asked now very quietly but Arison, Roseane and Ace could still hear it.
