“Aunt.” I acknowledged with a nod as I stepped into the dressing room. My men discreetly retreated. Even Alex left without another word. The make-up artists were nowhere to be seen. She must have asked them to leave until called. 

“Have you been waiting for long?” I asked politely. She leaned back on the couch and gave me a long-suffering look which was enough for me to know that it had been long enough for her. 

“What did you wish to talk about?” I asked without wasting another moment. She sighed, “It has come to my notice that you have not been keeping in touch with Miss Morgan.” My jaw clenched but remained quiet neither denying nor agreeing to her statement.
