Chapter Twenty Five

It was almost 10pm and I had actually slept off on the couch in my chambers.

I was awakened by the sound of my door being opened and shut silently, but surprisingly I could still hear it.

I opened up my eyes fully and saw him standing by my door.

Damon!!

Looking at the wall clock, I was shocked I had slept for over 3 hours on the couch.

“I knew you would be asleep by now and that was why I didn't think of it to knock,” he said smiling at me.

"The training will be starting in the next 15 minutes, so I was just looking for you to get you updated about it. You wouldn't want to be late to the field, trust me" he said giggling alongside.

As I laid still listening to what he had to say, I slowly wondered what it was about this particular full moon track training.

And most especially why he kept on smiling all through the times he spoke to me.
