It felt good to be back in a place where she wasn't treated like a slave. It didn't matter if people gave her judgemental looks. She didn't care what they thought. All she wanted was peace of mind for her and her son. All she wanted was to live in a healthy place with her son. That was all that mattered.

As the carriage ran through the streets, she peered out through the glass window with a smile.

"We're not stopping at the palace," Lucien mentioned.

Lillith turned to him with a worried look. "Why?"

"We are going straight to the cabin. Remember no one has to know you have returned? It's more dangerous if you're in the palace where people can see you,"
