Chase drove through blinding snow, hands tight around the steering. Alexander and Raven were still asleep, and he was loathed to wake them. He hated driving in these conditions but if it meant getting to Phoenix before Mason, he would drive through hell. “Just be safe, Sweetheart. They left at the break of dawn. Mason shoved Christine into the passenger seat. She didn’t resist even when he cuffed her hand to the seat.“I feel sick.
