CHAPTER 11 

ARES VASILIOS

With a blink of an eye two weeks already flew by. These past couple of weeks have being my worst nightmare, I have attended close to 15 meetings, I had to fly out to other places for meetings as well. Luciana have being a great help with booking my flight, sorting out meetings, arranging my paperwork for me to sign and she also brings me coffee every morning when she comes to the office which I'm grateful for  because I dont think I would function without any caffeine in my system.

I have also not being getting a proper night of sleep since the time I go home I'm already so fucking tired but Merida and Mateo is staying over with me because my brother and his wife is out of the city and they didn't want to take the kids with them because they didn't want them to miss any school so yeah they have being living with me. So when I go home from the office I spent my time playing house with Merida and her imaginary friends and help Mateo with his homework and also share my time with him and his toys. Fuck being a dad for a week is hard work but at least they keep me on my feet and I'm happy that they are here with me.

It's just after 11pm and I'm on my bed with a cigarette in between my lips and my arms behind my head as I stare at the ceiling above me. Merida and Mateo went back to their house with Alex and his wife so I'm alone in this house and it feels so strange because during the last 2 weeks this house was full of light and laughter and now it's just quiet. I have sent my staff early today since I wanted some alone time with myself which I hardly get. 

All I could think about was that brunette hair young women. I find it hard to believe that I actually found her. She's still that chirpy girl but more mature and responsible not that I'm saying she wasn't all those before because I have only spent couple minutes with her 4 years ago and those couple minutes was with my tongue down her throat. Fuck she got me hooked really badly. 

I smashed my dead cigarette bud on the ashtray next to me on the counter as I turned over to pick up my glasses and my laptop. I made myself comfortable on my bed as leaned my bare back against the head rest. I still had a couple of documents that required signing for tomorrow's meeting that I haven't signed at the office because I was pretty occupied and when I say pretty occupied I was busy staring at my assistant ass without her knowledge. I chuckled under my breathe as I ran my hands through my hair, it has only been two weeks and she has already found a place inside my head. 

Hour and hours seems to pass and by the time I'm done with the last bit of paperwork I had signing it was already 4am. I sigh as I take in the time, it's been like this for the past couple weeks, I need got get my head into the game otherwise father is going to think I'm not capable of this position. Since it's past 4am and my alarm was set for 5am, I decided that instead of sleeping I can hit the gym downstairs for an hour and then I can get ready to visit the office, today is the party that father's friend is hosting and I have to be his daughter's date for the night. Fuck it's going to be a nightmare. 

Once I finished doing my morning gym routine, I hit the shower to the freshen up, I stood in the extra for an extra minute letting the scorching water run down my body. When I had enough of the shower I turned it off, I wrapped my white towel around my waist as I made it back Into my suite to get ready for the day. I quickly changed into my navy suit and matching tie as I admire myself in the mirror while adjusting my cuffs on my sleeve. The man infront of this mirror is nothing compare to the boy i was couple years ago, to sayy I have matured alot is an understatement.

I still remembered the day when I turned 21 and father hosted this huge banquet ball to appoint me as the next CEO, a part of me was extremely excited and the other part of me never wanted this. I never wanted to be in the middle of the spotlight, father always knew that and he always taught me that I have become the man he once was. I have to be like him in order to take over this humongous position. But of course I never always listened to him, I can't be a monster he is when it comes to business, I prefer being reason and talking about the problem and fixing it then just jumping to conclusion, brother and father always tell me that I'm too soft and I need to toughen up in order to fit into this business world, so I pull up my socks and showed mh bother and father that I can run this business without them interfering. 

It didn't take me long to get to the office, once I entered, eveyone stood up and greeted me which I gave them a small smile in return. It order to run a good business you need to have a good relationship with your staff, they need to respect you and you have to do the same with them unless otherwise. Katherine was standing by the door of my office with a stack of what looks like paperwork that would probably need more signing from me. I blew out a breathe and opened my door walking into the office with her following behind me. Once I took a seat in my black leather chair, I raised an eyebrow for her to start speaking, as she was speaking my eyes kept of moving pass her and towards the door, in about just couple of minutes Luciana would enter with two cups of coffee in her hand and a bright smile on her delicate lips. 

As if my thoughts were playing mind games with me, the door suddenly opened and there she was standing in a beautiful liac dress that stopped at her knees, it fitted her curves so perfectly that I had to stop myself from walking towards her and touching her. She stood against the door with two cups of coffee and a small bag of what seems to look like muffins, I let out a small laugh in my mind at her cuteness. What the fuck is this girl doing to me? 

She greeted Katherine with a small smile and made her way towards me placing a cup of coffee on my table, she looked up at me with redden cheeks as she tugged a few of her free strand of hair that was on her face behind her ear. 

" good morning Mr Vasilios"  She greeted with a smile as she turned around and walked towards her table that was across the room.
