Chapter 46

DIANA

I am in the palace walking about inspecting what the maids are doing. Anita told me that was one of the duties of a Baroness.

I attended her lesson since I would be marrying her brother.

The first lesson was that I needed to embrace my evil side because good people do not rule the world.

They would be killed or replaced.

When they announced that I would be inspecting, there was a great fear in all the maids,I saw the energy with which they used to clean and make sure everywhere was neat.

"Do not make them feel that they've done anything great, find fault in them."

"That was they'll always want to please you."

Anita said.

I still touched some places like the cuvette and shook my head in dissatisfaction. Though I know how much they worked.

Lesson 2. A baroness never says sorry

A perfect example of that was when I poured hot water on one of the maids heads because she was too slow.

I knew she wasn't feeling too well. I complained that it was her fault that I didn't mix it well.
