“Don’t give headaches to your grandparents, okay?” Emerald reminded her son. Jace went to their house to fetch the boy. It’s Friday, and Ace will stay at the Higginson for the whole weekend.
“Yes, Mommy”, the boy replied happily. He enjoyed being at his grandparents' house because of his little cousin whom he was playing with. Emerald smiled and kissed Ace before handing Jace his bag of clothes.
“Please take care of him,” Young Morgan told Jace, who was taking the bag from her.
“Of course,” he replied, smiling. “Say goodbye to Mommy,” he told his son.
“Bye, Mom!” the boy said excitedly and clung to his father’s hand, which was holding his bag.
