Gemma had never thought about whether or not she wanted to leave, the question had never even occurred to her. Her heart had closed off and locked itself away, afraid that someone would hurt her. Gemma had lost everything, even herself, because of that man.

Day after day, Gemma lost her sense of time and only had contact with Jethro for a long period. This bedroom was her world, small and pitiful, but as long as she was here, the man wouldn't hurt her.

Today, Gemma, as usual, was arranging flowers and reading books when she suddenly heard the sound of a child's voice, making her curious and bringing her eyes to the door. Before Gemma even got to the door, it was pushed open, making her jump back in fear that Jethro had arrived.

"Who are you?" she asked.

Until Gemma saw the face of the child who pushed the door, she was shocked and surprised. She never thought that a child would appear here.
