Jethro suddenly thought of Clement, perhaps he would be a reasonable reason for Emma to show up.

"Call Clement here," Jethro commanded the butler.

Clement quickly arrived in the living room, and only that evening did Clement talk to Jethro in the most normal way, then his cold attitude made Jethro have to humble himself.

"Do you remember the woman at the auction?" Jethro asked.
