Unexpected

(Catherine's POV)

After me and Hikaru ate, he left me without a word. Does he remember that he is with me?

Anyways, I track the way back to the palace grounds. I saw Meimei. We just greeted each other and I noticed that she was looking at my clothes.

Before I bid goodbye to her, she told me, "Cath, do you want to change clothes?"

I looked again at my clothes, I'm still wearing my job uniform... Meimei assisted me to a room, there's a dresser there.

She gave me a blue - green kimono with a few floral design, she helped me to get dressed, she also tied my hair to a bun, she placed light make up in me and I wore wooden sandals.

I looked differently. I love how I look now.

I thanked her. "Cath, you should always bring this.” she said and handed me a shawl. It was almost autumn, and the leaves were starting to turn colors.
