Selfish Love

Standing at his door, she exhaled a heavy breath before knocking at his door. The door was open but he was nowhere to be seen. The lights of the room were also dimmed. She again knocked but got no response, so she stepped inside the door.

She wandered her eyes everywhere but he wasn't there. The door to his bathroom was also open, which means he wasn't there either, so where was he? Striding a furthermore inside, she continued to do her search until she found the door of his balcony was open. So he was there.

With a soft gulp, she walked towards there and stood at his balcony's glass door and there he was. His back was facing her. The fog of smoke was making it evident that he was smoking but before approaching him, she roamed her eyes around her surroundings and her eyes widened by watching empty wine bottles on a table beside him. Was he drinking? The half empty glass and empty bottles were answering her question.
