A week later in the morning Loveth slept late. Persistent tapping on the door woke her at last.
‘Loveth ,’ called Rachael, ‘are you all right?’
‘Yes,’ she answered, yawning, and looked at her watch. ‘I’ve just woken up; sorry it’s so late.Give me a minute to change into something ."
" Are you kidding me , today is the freedom dinner and you don't look ready a bit , don't you want to leave anymore ? ."
Loveth could have sworn she heard wrong , she had totally forgotten today was her big day. She had remembered last night but seems to have forgotten today about it all .
" I totally forgot , I don't have anything to wear Rachael ."
" some dresses were brought in very early this morning , you should pick anyone you want ."
Loveth threw on a blue shirt quickly as she tied up her hair , this was the day she has been looking forward to but for some reason , she was not having it anymore , everything felt so different for her
