Marcus wanted to make it up to his mum and dad. So he had woken them up very early and had asked them to dress up. When they did, he put them in the car and drove them out. He went alone with them, he basically wanted to have a short time with his mum again. When they left Allen saw this opportunity to talk to Stella. Through at the night, all he did was felt guilty, after what his dad had said to him. He hated how attracted he got to Stella during those short period of time with steady nights with her.
