Chapter:-29

Monika leaned on the bars of the glass window of her room, staring at the sunset. She could barely see the training grounds from there. She knew that Alexander was there. She knew Alexander's schedule. She knows everything about Alexander. She knew where he would go.

She always knew that Alexander would spare some time for his beloved friend, no matter how busy he was. The news of her best friend's marriage devastated Monika. She knew very well that she would never be a Queen. But she was sad that all the adoration she received was now being given to someone else.

Someone who did not deserve any of it

She heard the door open, and a guard walked in.

"The Queen is here, and she wishes to see you".

Monika blinked. She tried to get a rough idea of the situation. A while ago, the queen came to her room for a friendly visit, as she said. Her mind was full of anxiety, anger, and sadness. She hated the fact that Chand married the man she loved.

Ashly stole a glance at Monika.

"Your tea
