I already knew that Caleb did not come from a wealthy family. Everything that he has right now were all because of the years of his hard work. He already told me that he was once malnourished and a scholar like me. Without the scholarship offered from the school, we wouldn't graduate, we wouldn't be where we were right now.

And about his family status, I was well aware of that. He has told it to me when we attended an event and he saw his father unexpectedly.

Mr. Cellio Craige, Caleb's father that he hated the most. He loathed the old man, he blamed him for everything that happened to him and his mom. Everything about that was clear to me already.

But what I didn't expect was his situation before was harder than I thought. It was worse than mine.
