Chapter 114-Death

It was settled, and I didn’t argue with Damien, though I wasn’t happy about the plan to kill Lucas, I hoped it didn’t come to that.

The rest of the days, I spent in bed, while Damien was off on his own to where I didn't know, I could see how broken he was, and I couldn't blame him.

All he wants is to keep me safe, that was all that mattered to him and I understood, he lost his mother and brother and that had traumatized him for years, the fear of losing me was heavy on his shoulders and he couldn't bear to think of it.

How life had changed, Susan was a distant memory, and sometimes I hoped not to see them again, but something told me I would buy it led me to ask myself, my mother was a smart woman and I wondered what she would do in this situation.

And I knew the answer, she would kill Lucas, that was what she did to those who threatened her and the thought of it sent a chill down my spine. I couldn't hold it, I was scared of death. I wish was a way to make this easier for all of us.
