Chapter 51- Meeting Ava

I wore a white dress that reached my knees, tied my hair up in a bun, and put on flat shoes.

“Shouldn't you be scared? She may sue your ass,” Freya said, nagging for the past hour since the news of Britney's mom reached me. I rolled my eyes at her; she was indeed very funny.

“I haven't met the woman before, so I can't say,” I mumbled as I walked out of the room. I headed to the living room and could hear a different voice coming from there.

As soon as I stepped in, my eyes fell on an elegant woman sitting on the sofa. She was a beautiful white lady with the whitest skin, and I could tell she was tall and very beautiful.

As soon as her eyes fell on me, she looked at me from top to bottom. I was expecting a smile on her face, but she frowned.

“Meet Ariana, my daughter,” my mother chimed in as she rushed to me and held my hands. I narrowed my eyes at her as she pulled me.

“Good afternoon, ma'am. Nice to meet you,” I greeted.
