Ariana POV

I froze as I saw her, she looked different. It had been a long time since he saw her this way. I could tell she lost a couple of weight, and she looked worn out.

As soon as she saw me, her face lit with a smile as she came towards me, I made no move as she walked to me, and hugged me, I knew she came with nothing but trouble. I had my life to figure out and now here she comes with a fresh dose of trouble again.

“My child, look how beautiful you look You glowing,” she complimented me as she hugged me, I didn't react, for someone who wanted to kill me weeks ago she was far too nice and I hated it already.

“What do you want,” I blurted out, and she gave me a soft smile.

“That’s no way to talk to your mother child,” she teased me with a small laugh and I remained silent.
