Chapter 3: THE TRIALS AND GLITCHES

STATE MUNICIPAL CLINIC

The room is covered with tiny check curtains and the floor designed with vinyl composition tiles, there is a nature based art design of a forest hanging by the side of the couch. It's past 11pm and Johnson is discussing the level of damage the young lady has suffered with the doctor and how much hope is there of her surviving. They were standing close to the door a little bit far from her bed.

"We successfully stopped the outer bleeding but right now she is suffering from intracranial hematoma including compression fractures which are very severe." the doctor briefed him

"what does intracra..ahhh,(confused) i don't understand what you are trying to tell me doctor, please can you break it down in a way I can understand" Johnson asked.

"okay what I'm trying to say is that she has a trauma and this is because a blood vessel in the brain has been broken right beneath the skull creating a serious internal injury on the head, and also the compression fractures are spine injuries,(he paused) her spinal cord is injured badly but with treatment it could heal in two to three months, the main problem is she would have to go through multiple surgeries and to be honest with you her chances of surviving is little. She will be unconscious for a long time as the brain is too weak to function" the doctor explained.

"you mean like COMA!?."

"yes she will be on oxygen, for now we just have to keep an eye on her. Don't worry you can go home and come back tomorrow you look soo tired and stressed out."

"yeah you're right doctor Brown (he sighs deeply) I will check up on her tomorrow."

Johnson walking slowly out of the room he turned and take a glimpse of her. This woman just in one night has changed his whole life, where would he get the money for her surgery, how would he explain the incident to people and all of that. After he came out of the hospital he hopped on his car which also needs repair as it was badly damaged, he rests his head back on the driver seat, closed his eyes and stayed silent for about three minutes deep in thought,(he sighs deeply) he ignites his car and zoomed off.

Johnson checked the time on his wrist watch and it was almost midnight, he is not in the mood to listen to music now but he plays one tittled "Someone you loved by Lewis Capaldi"; nevertheless he can't turn back the hands of time for what has happened has happened. Getting home he opens the door sluggishly, as he carelessly throw his keys to the left hand side, right now he has more pressing issues that are more important than knowing where he dropped his keys. Walking upstairs like a drunk man who can't see where he is going he finally reached his room, opening the door he embraced the bed tightly, he has a lot of work to do by morning but for now sleep calls.

ACCORM SETTLEMENT(home)

"Lord Elias we have searched all night the entire forest but there is no sign of her, me and my men did our best to track her down but it seems she didn't transform to her beast form and so it was difficult to keep up with her scent." the red troop leader reported and was kneeling before the ruler as a show of minority to him the supreme ruler.

"A girl!, a common girl! and you come back here to tell me you couldn't catch her!, what does that make you hunh, I made you the red troop captain and now you disappoint me like this!" Elias said.

"Have mercy Lord Elias, believe me I did all I could to track her down but"...

"but what!", Elias cuts in, "she disappeared into thin air or maybe you are trying to tell me that she's faster than you" Elias said.

"No my Lord! I am"...

"Shut up!, now since you have failed this one simple task assigned to you, there is no point of you living."

"No!...no..no!!!."

Elias as fast as light was now standing at the back of the red troop captain and like the wind cut through his neck line as his lifeless body fell to the ground and blood pumps out rapidly. (blood splashed) Elias looked at his bloody hands as he smiled and started laughing devilishly.

"Now you, (he points randomly) I now appoint you to be the new red troop captain!, congratulations." As he smiled devilishly.

"If you fail me, i will make sure you suffer thesame fate as him, do you understand me!?" Elias asked.

"Ye.. yes Lord Elias". the newly appointed red troop leader answered in fear.

The whole red troop knelt down and bent their heads to the ground showing that they are minorities before leaving the palace hall.

"Dorian!!! you cannot escape me, you cannot escape my wrath, I will make sure i wipe your entire generation from the surface of the earth, i will find you." He laughed devilishly one more time as he seats on the throne

In the Accorm settlement they are different set of troops. They have the

"white moon" which specializes in human study and adaptation to make the defense mechanism incase of attack from humans, once the humans find their way into their domain they are the troop to take charge and they are also the once to know if they are of threat or not.
