YARA’S POVAlpha Denver surprised me. For the first time, he actually helped me and it was very surprising. Even though he claimed he was helping to get rid of me faster, it still felt very weird because the alpha Denver I had grown used to having around all the time was never going to do that. He was always angry with a deep frown on his face that it even made me wonder how he didn't have wrinkles yet. Then he went ahead to make me speechless too. I didn't believe it and I wanted to convince myself that I was probably hallucinating but it actually happened and I wasn't the only witness.We both entered the office where he fixed me first and I could feel everyone's eyes on us. They all bowed to greet him at the same time before they watched in silence as he helped me return my table to its place and I placed the chair beside it then I gave him an awkward smile as a thank you. I thought he was going to leave immediately but he wasn't moving and I wondered what he was up to this time.

YARA’S POVI woke up earlier than usual the next day because I had my own plans. I was feeling more energized and ready for the day and there was even a hint of excitement in me… It was because I was finally going to start training on my own and no one was going to know except me. Not even Freya because I had to keep it very confidential. ALPHA DENVER’S POVI was still asleep. My alarm hadn’t even rung yet when I heard a knock on the door and I woke up with a start. I dragged my feet as I walked to the door with sleepy eyes and a resolve to make whoever it was that woke me up before my fixed time pay because my sleep was just ruined after a very stressful previous day at the company. I opened the door and it was just a maid. I growled angrily as I glared at her and she had her head bent while her body shook… she was obviously frightened, just as she should be.“What is this about? You better have a good reason or I’m making you stay awake for four days” I warned her and she went down on her knees immediately.
